We forgathered a great collection of weird cloud formation mother nature made! Here are some scienctific facts about best known clouds before you see the pictures:

Lenticular clouds are stationary lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes, normally aligned at right-angles to the wind direction. Technically speaking, lenticular clouds are broken up into altocumulus standing lenticularis (ACSL), stratocumulus standing lenticular (SCSL), and cirrocumulus standing lenticular (CCSL).

Noctilucent clouds, also known as polar mesospheric clouds, are bright cloudlike phenomena in the upper atmosphere, visible in a deep twilight. They are made of crystals of water ice. The name means roughly night shining in Latin. They are most commonly observed in the summer months at latitudes between 50° and 70° north and south of the equator. Click here for more info!
