Wackiest Facial Expressions

Facial expressions are a form of nonverbal communication. We use them in our everyday life and they are very important in socializing between us. A facial expression results from one or more motions or positions of the muscles of the face.

There is still that story that we use 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile, but his is not true. We use 11 muscles to frown and 12 to smile. This means it’s better to smile all day instead of frowning, and disproves the theory that that we shouldn’t smile as much as we can.

We always use different group of muscles for every facial expression. We have collected some of the funniest and weirdest pictures of facial expressions. These expressions use more muscles then for smiling for sure!
